Miner's 5th grade scholars participated in an awesome virtual field trip with NatureBridge and learned all about watersheds and how pollution in the watershed can affect living things. Way to go, Mighty Bears!

Miner Community,
Thank you so much to all who joined us today at Community Day! From the crew that showed up at 9am to set up to the team that stayed beyond 3pm to clean up, and everyone in between, we are so grateful to all of you! Whether you cleaned up with Green Team or handed out school supplies or took a school tour or jumped in the bounce castle, you made today so much fun! We especially want to give a big shout out to our Community School Coordinator, Ms. Woodson, for organizing such a great event, and a huge thank you to our Green Team for leading an awesome group of volunteers in our Campus Clean Up. And today wouldn’t have been nearly as successful without the support of our friends and partners at Christ City Church, Edgewood/Brookland, and Zeta Phi Beta. We are fortunate to have such an amazing Miner Bear Community! Good Morning Families, Welcome back to Miner ES for SY 21-22! I'm so excited to meet each and every one of you and your scholars. I have attached my beginning of the school year document to provide updates for Monday, along with ASK, ASK, LOOK checklist. Please review the documents and feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. Again, I'm excited for Monday and seeing all my Mighty Miner Bears! Yours in service, Principal Angry Download Beginning of School UpdateDownload Daily Screening Tracker FormPlease join us at Miner Elementary on Saturday, August 28 for a Community Day to celebrate the last weekend of summer before the students return to school!
