Bear Paw Fund
2022-23 Explore! Excite! Expand! Fall Fundraising Campaign

What is the Bear Paw Fund?

Picture

The Miner Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is excited to launch our 2022-2023 Bear Paw Fund Fall Fundraising Campaign. The Fund will enable the PTO to support Miner students and teachers in grades pre-K through 5th grade to Explore! Excite! Expand! throughout the school year!

EXPLORE! Miner scholars can achieve their full potential exploring the natural world outside of the classroom. Miner's garden program encompasses our Peace Garden and FoodCorps service member who provides regular garden, food, and nutrition programming.

EXCITE! Celebrating student achievement and hosting school-wide events (Fall Festival, Winter Movie Night, Spring Dance) designed to excite students, families, and staff about our school community.

EXPAND! Students will expand their knowledge of our community and our region via teacher organized field trips. The PTO will support trips with resources for transportation and admission.

Any amount helps - please contribute what you can!

Miner Parents & Caregivers: Please consider donating a "Month for Miner"
Please consider donating the equivalent of a month's worth of tuition. Think about how much you would still be paying each month for private school, preschool, or daycare. Donate - or pledge to donate - as much as you're comfortable with. Donations by installments that you pay over the course of the year are welcomed! See below how to make a pledge.

How do I contribute?

Step 1: Fill out a donation/pledge form. You can download a paper copy, fill it out and return it to the Main Office, your teacher, or email it to minerpto@gmail.com, or you can fill out our online form here.
Step 2: Choose one of the four options below to make your contribution. The PTO accepts cash, checks, and credit cards.

Online:

Just click the button below to make a secure credit card payment (via PayPal):

You can also leave any contributions with the front desk and they'll make sure the PTO receives them.

PayPal:

If you have a PayPal account, you can make donations via PayPal's Giving Fund. These aren't assessed the standard 3% fee, which go to the PTO instead.

Pledge:

If you prefer to donate by installments over the course of the year, please make sure to check the appropriate pledge box in the same online form from Step 1.

Employer Matching:

Many employers and workplaces offer to fully or partially match donations made by employees to charitable causes. Last year, this was a significant portion of the funds raised by the PTO.

Please check with your employer to see if they participate!

Remember, donations are tax deductible!

Don't forget that the Miner PTO is a 501c3 charitable organization and all donations are tax deductible. A receipt will automatically be provided for each donation.
