Uniform Donation
Miner accepts donations of new and/or gently used uniform clothing for distribution to families in need. Items should be clean and in good condition (no stains or tears). Items accepted include shirts, pants, shoes, skirts, jumpers, dresses, and sweaters. All collected items are provided to the school social workers to distribute to families in need.
School Supplies
As a Community School, Miner provides all necessary classroom supplies to anyone who may have a need. Teachers may send home a suggested supply list. If you need help with any of these items, please speak to your child's teacher or a social worker.
Grades K-5: Students are requested to have a backpack for books and homework, and so the school can send home a daily or weekly communication folder. If you are in need of a backpack, please see your child's teacher or a school social worker.
Pre-Kindergarten: Students are requested to have a back pack so the school can send home a daily or weekly communication folder, a nap roll or blanket for rest time, and a change of clothing (accidents happen). If you want to donate to the classroom, you are welcome to give them items such as tissues and hand sanitizer. If you are in need of a backpack, blanket, uniform, or change of clothes, please see your child's teacher or a school social worker.
