Drop Off
PreK-3 and PreK-4: Students are to be dropped off at the Early Childhood playground door. Students will be monitored by ECE staff until breakfast in their classrooms at 8:45am. Drop off begins at 8:20am unless the student is enrolled in beforecare.
Kindergarten - 5th Grade: Students will enter the cafeteria beginning at 8:20 am through the door to the main playground. Breakfast is available in the cafeteria starting at this time.
Late Arrival: All students arriving after 8:45am must be dropped off in the Main Office through the front door.

Pick Up
PreK-3 and PreK-4: Students will be picked up daily at 3:15pm (unless they are enrolled in aftercare) from the ECE Playground. Students will only be signed out and released to those individuals on their approved list of adults. Those doing pick up must have a photo ID. In the event of inclement weather, pick up will be done from the doorways near the ECE playground.
Kindergarten-5th Grade: Students will be picked up daily at 3:15pm (unless they are enrolled in aftercare) from main playground. Parents/Guardians will provide the name of the student(s) they are picking up to the adult on duty, then student(s) will be escorted out for dismissal. Students will only be signed out and released to those individuals on the approved list of adults.
Walkers: Students in grades 3-5 who walk home must have signed permission on file with the school.

Parking Lot
The main parking lot is for Miner staff only. Only staff and school buses may enter during drop off and pick up. Unfortunately while the construction on the Old Miner Building (just to the north of our school) is on-going, the secondary parking lot is closed. During morning drop off and afternoon pick up parents are asked to drop off students at the main gate or park on the street to walk them to their designated drop off area. Additional parking may be available in the lot to the south of Miner on 15th Street.
Anyone dropping off students for beforecare or picking up during aftercare may use the main parking lot if space is available.
