Principal: Bruce Jackson (bruce.jackson@k12.dc.gov )
Mr. Jackson most recently served as a Mary Jane Patterson Fellow at Charles Hart Middle School. Prior to that he have served as an educational aide, teacher, special education coordinator, and assistant principal at Walker-Jones EC, MacFarland MS, Garfield ES and Cardozo EC. Mr. Jackson received his Bachelor’s degree from Westfield State University in Massachusetts, the state in which he was born and raised. He then moved to Washington, DC to complete his Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction at American University.
Assistant Principal: Antwan Lee (antwan.lee@k12.dc.gov)
Mr. Lee comes to Miner from Johnson Middle School where he served as an assistant principal since 2016. Before his time as an assistant principal at Johnson MS he also served as an assistant principal in the charter sector and both a general education and special education mathematics teacher. Mr. Lee received his undergraduate degree in psychology from North Carolina State University, his master’s in special education at North Carolina Central University, and a certificate in Executive Leadership from Georgetown University.
