Summer may seem far away, but many programs will begin registration in the coming weeks (and a few have already opened!). Get ready to get signed up for summer camp.

February 2 // PTO Meeting [6pm] Please join us! Babysitting available and pizza dinner for a small donation! Meeting minutes are available here to get you up to date!
February 2 // Girls Basketball at Miner [4pm]
February 3 // Principal Morning Coffee [8:30am] Come talk with Dr. Evans about your concerns, ideas, or thoughts regarding your family's experience with Miner!
February 3 // 5th Grade Field Trip [1:30pm]
February 4 // PK Parent Meeting [8am]

SUMMER CAMP sign ups will start SOON // Download our summer camp info sheet and be sure to sign up early for your top choices. They fill up quickly!
SCIENCE & ENGINEERING CLUB NEEDS PARENT VOLUNTEERS // Contact [email protected] if you can volunteer periodically as a club leader. NASA provides the lessons, parents and teachers get to have fun with students doing awesome projects!
BOY SCOUTS STILL NEED LEADERS // Contact [email protected] if you can volunteer as a scout leader. It's once a week for an hour. Tell your neighbors and friends!
LITERACY NIGHT IS COMING // We are planning literacy night in March, and we will need volunteers the afternoon of the event to do an hour or two of activities in small groups -- like reading a story, doing crafts, or helping with book fair. Be on the lookout for volunteer sign up sheets, and if you're available, email [email protected]

January 14 - Miner Elementary Open House [9:30-10:30am] Prospective families are invited for a school tour and Q&A with parents and teachers at our third open house event!
January 14 - Hill Center Young Artist Gallery Opening [6:30pm-7:30pm] Enjoy light refreshments at the gallery opening of the Hill Center Young Artist Gallery featuring artwork from across the neighborhood, including Miner Elementary student art. The Hill Center is located at 921 Pennsylvania Ave SE.
