The Week Ahead: Welcome Back Students, Staff, and Teachers!

August 21-27

• Monday, August 22 // FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR K-5! Welcome back to the big kids! Breakfast starts at 8:15am and class begins at 8:45. Dismissal this week is at 3:15pm.
• Monday August 22 // PS3 & PK3 New Mom PTO Happy Hour [Red Rocks @ 6pm] New to Miner's PK program this year? The moms are getting together to welcome one another back to school. Come meet some other new and returning families. RSVP.
• Thursday, August 25 // FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR PK3 / PK4! So excited to welcome the little ones back to the newly painted Orange Wing at Miner! We'll meet some new teachers, see new friends and reunite with others, it's going to be a great start to the school year! 
• Saturday, August 27 // BACK TO SCHOOL PICNIC [11am - 2pm at Miner] More info forthcoming, but we're welcoming food and drink donations!

• Monday, August 29 // After school and before school care programs begin.

Our new administrative A-TEAM - Ms. Mial, Ms. Torrence, and Ms. Flores - have been hard at work for the past few months prepping for the school year. With so much to do and be done, we know there is always room for making things run better -- and their demonstrated commitment to slowly, but surely, building a brighter future for Miner has already been making an impact. Families should have received teacher assignment letters last week and general information about school policies.
