On Friday, April 13, Miner Elementary School and the Miner PTO hosted Miner's 2nd Annual Spring Dance. The event was a huge success thanks to the hard work of the planning committee, headed up by Ms. Dorsey, Mariana Jones, and Lindsey Jones-Renaud.
Students danced the night away in a beautifully decorated gym and enjoyed delicious snacks and fun crafts in the cafeteria. Our Royal Court was crowned and families got to have a special dance with their favorite students. Finally, the night was capped perfectly with a professional photographer snapping spring-themed photos. The event was so much fun that by the end of the night, no one wanted to leave! The PTO is grateful to everyone who played a role in making it happen and would like to give a special thank you to Dr. King, Ms. Offor, Ms. Wingfield, and Mr. Robinson for making sure we were able to set up during school hours. We also want to recognize Dia Johnson of Sweet Surprises who donated a portion of the delicious food (to accommodate the unprecedented number of RSVPs) and Art-drenaline 365 for providing the healthy snacks. We are also particularly grateful to Ms. Mears, Ms. Brown, Ms. Olazo, Heidi Altman, Jessica Berniske, Terri Rupar, John & Julie Muir, and David & Amy Treat for volunteering to help out. Thanks to everyone who could join us - you all played a part in making the night special for our students and families! Thank you, Miner PTO Comments are closed.
