Saturday, April 21 was a fun community day for the Miner Bear family! We began the morning with a new event that was all about exploring and experiencing peace. "Growing Peace in the Family" was hosted by Little Friends for Peace, and we are so grateful to MJ and Jerry Park and their team for sharing this program with us. Families participated in cooperative games, art, and peace circle activities, and the workshop was truly a joyful event!
We would like to give special thanks to Miner's Director of Strategy & Logistics, Dr. King, for helping with set up; Dante' Daniel, Matt Renaud, and the ECE Parent Committee for helping with coordination; and Ms. Dorsey and some very talented PreK students for creating a beautiful poster for the event. However, none of this would have been possible without the hard work of CarolAnne Otto who introduced us to our new friends from Little Friends for Peace. It is dedicated, passionate parents that help make a school more than just a school. Thank you, CarolAnne, for making this event happen! Comments are closed.
