Miner Mutual Aid Closes 2020 with Community Support

​On Saturday, December 19, Miner Mutual Aid held its final Community Table of 2020.

Thanks to the support of the Miner community, The Miner Green Team, Serve Your City and the Ward 6 Mutual Aid Network,  Christ City Church, and the Miner Administration, the event provided:

• 1,200 pounds of food (including 1,000 pounds of fresh produce),
• 400 masks and other PPE,
• 120 new toys
• Free flu shots,
• Children’s books, and
• Winter clothes

The Mutual Aid team wishes to thank everyone who contributed to the event, especially our outstanding volunteers.
Starting in June, these monthly events have provided critical support to our community. This assistance will not end with 2020 and we look forward to continuing to build a thriving mutual aid network for Miner and the surrounding neighborhood in the new year.
