Spring at Miner
Hello Miner Community,
The cherry blossoms are doing their thing, and there’s a lot happening at Miner as we head into spring…
Our coin drive is in full swing—keep those coins coming! The class with the heaviest bucket by Friday, April 3 will win a pizza party.
And speaking of pizza… this Thursday, March 26, you can support Miner just by ordering dinner. Della Barba Pizza is giving 20% of all sales back to the PTO, so it’s a great night to let someone else cook.
A quick calendar update: our April PTO Meeting has moved from April 1 to April 22. Our Wellness Team will be sharing something special that evening—we hope you’ll join us.
Looking ahead, Miner Arts Night is on Thursday, April 9, and our Spring Dance is on Thursday, April 30. Both are such fun community moments, and we’ll need volunteers to make them happen!

Volunteer Opportunities
Raffle Prizes: We need 2–3 volunteers to help procure about 10-15 raffle prizes for our Spring Dance and EOY cookout from local businesses. Can you help? Please reply to this email.
Spring Dance: We need many volunteers on Thursday, April 30 to help with set-up/decoration, welcoming/greeting, serving food & drink, and clean up.

Hill Family Biking: Littles Ride — Saturday, March 28 (10:30a-12:00p)
Join Hill Family Biking for a Littles Ride on Saturday March 28 from 10:30am to 12pm for either a 1/2 or 1 mile ride followed by a magic/circus show by Crickett! The ride starts at Lincoln Park (11th and E Capitol St NE). This event is perfect for riders ages 3-6 on trikes, balance bikes, training wheels and pedal bike riders. Parents and older siblings should plan to ride with their little rider!
Rosedale Spring Fling - Wednesday, April 15, during Spring Break (12:00-4:00 PM) @ Rosedale Recreation Center
