Every year, Miner parents and staff step up to serve on the Local School Advisory Team (LSAT) and the PTO Executive Board. These are the groups that help guide school priorities, support students and teachers, and build the community we all value.

LSAT (Local School Advisory Team)

Four parent representative seats open

1-year term (July 1, 2026-June 30, 2027)

• 1–2 hours per month

• Work with the principal on school strategy, budget, and priorities

• Help shape the Comprehensive School Plan

Best fit if you’re interested in how decisions get made and want a voice in them

What to expect

You won’t be starting from scratch. We provide:

• A detailed transition guide with timelines, key dates, and vendor info

• Organized access to templates, documents, and past materials

• Role-specific onboarding (including 1:1 support for key roles)

• Transition meetings over the summer

• Ongoing support from current board members
