Friday, March 10 at 10:30 am in the Miner gymnasium
Miner is hosting a very special event next Friday, March 10, and you’re invited! As part of the USA Science Festival “Nifty Fifty” event (http://www.usasciencefestival.org), Miner will have a very special guest speaker who will speak with Miner’s students and parents about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).
Dr. April Ericsson will be our speaker. She is an aerospace engineer who works for NASA at Goddard Space Flight Center, just 10 miles north of Miner in Greenbelt, MD. More information about Dr. Ericsson can be found here:
So please plan to join us at 10:30 am next Friday, March 10 in the Miner gymnasium to hear Dr. Ericsson’s story and about how STEM is an important part of education.
